Just outside of the tiny village of Harrow sits a lonely hill that towers over the settlement and the surrounding old growth forest. It’s a desolate place, made even more desolate now by recent archaeological excavations that have carved out the side of the hill. Rumor has it that some well-heeled wizard or minor noble is funding a search for a lost tomb of some long-forgotten warlock. Some whisper that great wealth or powerful artifacts lie in its depths. Others warn of dark magic or terrible secrets. Regardless, all sorts of problems have plagued the excavation since it started: workers have gone missing or come down with mysterious illnesses, some have gone mad, artifacts have disappeared, and strange ghostly voices have been heard emanating from deep within the newly opened tomb. It could be bandits. Or it could be something far far worse.
You've been hired to fill in some vacancies on the night watch guarding the entrance of the excavation. It's a miserable night. Stormy weather. Constant rain. Mud. Unknown dangers in the dark.
But the pay is good. Suspiciously so. You just need to keep the place safe until dawn. What could possibly go wrong?

Dungeons & Dragons 5.5 Edition
https://dnd.wizards.com/start-playing-dnd
Description:
The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends may tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the many worlds of D&D through any of the hundreds of novels written by today's hottest fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D.
