Welcome to the new website!
Wow, it finally happened! When the transition from the old site to this one is complete (May 1st at noon) we will officially not be using meetup for any actual event management, all ticketing, attendance and whatnot will go through here. This landing page will exist until May 1st at noon at which point it will be replaced by something permanent. In the meantime, here is all the info you need to know about this new site!
What's New?
We are longer reliant on meetup! That means we can do all sorts of cool stuff:
- When a DM signs up to run a table they are automatically running the table, no more waiting for assignment etc
- No more refund requests! When you cancel a ticket the refund request is created automatically
- You can assign characters to events, and if they have a character sheet link that will also show up in the event details
- Lots more features are already in there and more to come!
Important Details Regarding Existing Accounts
If you have an account on the old site your login and password should be working already. If you use socials to sign in to an existing account the email address associated with that will need to match in order for you to have access to your characters. Speaking of your characters…
The old site is now live at old.torontodnd.com. You can use that site to manage your existing characters until noon on May 1st. At that time all your characters will be ported over to the new site and the old site will be shuttered. The only thing you need to do is make sure that you have applied any session credits you have BEFORE then. After May 1st at noon any requests for session credits from dates before May 1st will NOT be honoured.
Wait a minute, this site has some issues!
Although there is lots of cool stuff already happening on the site, there is a lot more planned and a LOT of rough edges. There will be some bugs, there are lots of pages that need significant design and usability changes, and there are some features that exist just quite yet. If you find any bugs or other mistakes please let us know via this form. We will be checking it regularly for a while and will be making fixes, improvements and feature adds more or less daily.
