Refund Policy

Depending on the circumstances you may be eligible for a full or partial refund when you cancel a ticket. Our full policy regarding refunds is listed below:

Ticket Cancellations

When you cancel your ticket to an event you may be eligible for a refund depending on how far ahead of the event start time you cancel:

  1. 24 Hours or more: If you cancel a ticket 24 hours or more ahead of the scheduled start time of an event you get a full refund, minus the payment processing fee.
  2. 4 Hours or more: If you cancel a ticket less than 24 hours, but more than 4 hours ahead of the schedule start time, you get a 50% refund on your ticket price.
  3. Less than 4 Hours: If you cancel a ticket less than 4 hours ahead of the schedule start time, you are not eligible for a refund.
  4. When cancelling your ticket to fill a vacant DM spot: You will receive a full refund regardless of timing.

In all cases you do not need to request a refund, that will be done automatically.

Event Cancellations

When an event is cancelled by TorontoDnD you are entitled to a full refund for any tickets purchased for that event. You do not need to request a refund, it will be processed automatically. Events are typically cancelled for the following reasons:

  1. Not Enough Players: If there are not enough players to run a viable game the event will be cancelled. This typically happens three hours ahead of the start time of the event. The number of players required for a viable game may vary from one game system to another, but for games with a limit of five players (not including the GM) we will typically cancel if there are less than three players signed up.
  2. No GM: If there is no GM signed up three hours ahead of the start time, the game will be cancelled. We typically make efforts to keep an eye on situations where this may happen and will actively try to find somebody ahead of time.
