Following the death of King Saturn, the Merfolk Kingdom stands at a historic crossroads. Saturn’s daughter, Princess Azure, prepares to claim the throne as the realm's first Queen.
Unfortunately a faction of traditionalist military rebels refuses to accept a female sovereign. In a desperate ploy to force her abdication, the insurgents contract the dreaded Dark Trench, an infamous crew led by Vance Bloodrazor; to steal something highly cherished and critical to the Princess and Merfolk.
As the pirates plunder is dragged into the abyss, and the royal forces are tied down on the front lines and palace guards locked in defense, the Princess must place her faith in external mercenaries.
Meeting at Coral Cove Beach, a party of brave outsiders are asked to dive into the treacherous deep on a daring rescue mission to restore hope to the kingdom.
