Behind You! is a slasher, horror game inspired a lot by 80s, 90s and early 2000s slasher movies. You'll play people fighting against the limits and constraints of where they find themselves. It could be a small town, it could be a campground, or it could be a college campus. It's just a place where people in authority are trying to keep things the same even though there is someone or something killing people in the town. Using a very stripped-down version of Powered by the Apocalypse, Behind You! lets you build a character through a Type and Subtype method. You can choose to be: The Accepted - the popular and privileged people The Outcast - those looking in from the outside The Invisible - those not noticed by people generally The Standard - the average person just caught up in the chaos The Wise - those who know a little too much However, each group breaks down into smaller groups: The Accepted can be the The Pretty One, The Leader, or The Athlete The Outcast can be The Stoner, The Nerd, or The Rebel The Invisible can be The Ingenue, The Shy One, or The Shrieker The Standard can be The Surprise, The Brave, or The Will The Wise can be The Gore Hound, The Occultist, or The Historian Each character type helps you build out The Line. The Line is a visual representation of which character is most at risk of being killed next. You'll create a Killer and describe what drives them and what makes them terrifying as a group and use them for potential sequels!
Non-PW Game: This table does not use Persistent World characters. Please carefully read the table description to determine if there are special requirements for your character, or if characters are going to be provided by the GM.
